Foxkei

We left off with Re-l passing when she was attacked by a Proxy. This episode starts with here being shown pictures of immigrants from Mosque, a city outside of Romdo. Re-l insist that her attacker was not a human, but a monster; obviously, nobody believes her. She’s been relieved from her duties until she get a psychiatric examination, as they believe she’s suffering from post-shock trauma. She asks them to check the evidence in her house and the surveillance cameras, but apparently they were all clean. She realizes that this is a conspiracy and that the Security Bureau has erased all the evidence about those monsters that attacked her. They even erased Iggy’s memories about that incident. Forcibly, she agrees to get an examination, so she can continue her work. Her doctor is the Chief physician of Romdo City, Daedalus. While getting examined, Re-l realizes that Daedalus is under her grandfather’s influence as well. But she manages to get some information, namely, find out about the term “Proxy”, by looking through Daedalus’ files.

Meanwhile, Vincent Law is being chased by the same Proxy that attacked Re-l that night. Coincidentally, Raul, the head of the Security Bureau, is also in the mall and is witnessing this occurrence. The Proxy kills a lot of bystanders as it’s chasing Vincent. An AutoReiv, Pino, gets infected with the Cogito Virus after she collided with Vincent during his escape. Pino’s master, who apparently had some connection with Raul, gets her throat slashed by the Proxy. Her toddler, non-AutoReiv, baby falls down the stairs and dies as well. Raul, who was in a state of shock for a few moments, orders the seal down the mall and look for the Proxy. But the Proxy, who is still chasing Vincent, manages to escape. The Security Bureau also sends people to terminate Pino who was infected with the Cogito Virus.

Re-l has gone back to her house to look for evidence that would prove she’s not mad. She manages to find a necklace that looks familiar. In the previous episode, we saw Vincent wearing the same necklace. She’s shocked since this means her attacker was Vincent.

Going back to Vincent, he’s still being chases by the same Proxy, however, he’s reaches a deadend. He’s panicking, for the Proxy is right behind him and is walking slowly towards him. But suddenly, Vincent stops and turns around towards to Proxy. His expression is entirely different now. The fear is gone. He slowly opens his eyes; a blank, serious face.
