Ergo Proxy: Episode 03

Ergo Proxy : Episode Three: Mazecity

In the previous episode, we were left off with Vincent opening his eyes for the first time as he was being approached by a Proxy. The episode begins with Vincent being unconscious on the train. He’s dreaming about an unknown figure.

Apparently, he’s always seeing the same dream: an unknown figure standing and Vincent being sad and crying. Each time he tries to take a close look at this unknown figure (which looks a lot like the Proxy that attacked Re-l in her bathroom), he wakes up.

Ergo Proxy: Episode 02

We left off with Re-l passing when she was attacked by a Proxy. This episode starts with here being shown pictures of immigrants from Mosque, a city outside of Romdo. Re-l insist that her attacker was not a human, but a monster; obviously, nobody believes her. She’s been relieved from her duties until she get a psychiatric examination, as they believe she’s suffering from post-shock trauma. She asks them to check the evidence in her house and the surveillance cameras, but apparently they were all clean. She realizes that this is a conspiracy and that the Security Bureau has erased all the evidence about those monsters that attacked her. They even erased Iggy’s memories about that incident. Forcibly, she agrees to get an examination, so she can continue her work. Her doctor is the Chief physician of Romdo City, Daedalus. While getting examined, Re-l realizes that Daedalus is under her grandfather’s influence as well. But she manages to get some information, namely, find out about the term “Proxy”, by looking through Daedalus’ files.

Ergo Proxy: Episode 01

Thought I should start a “review” blog where I write about the last movie or anime I watched. The idea came from a similar thread we have in the forums. I’ll start off with Ergo Proxy I recently got.
I’ll keep these short and simple: brief summary with lots of pictures. But be warned as they contain spoilers for the episode.

Ergo Proxy DVD

I finally finished getting all the Ergo Proxy DVD’s. I bought volume 01 almost two years ago when it was first released, but because of the pricing ($25 for each volume is still expensive!) I decided to gradually buy the other ones whenever they go on sale. So today, after two years, I finally got volume 04 (actually, there are six volumes, but I didn’t buy them in order). I’ll start (re)watching (I watched the fansub already) this great tonight!
