Go to your Options (under Control Panel) and scroll all the way down. You can change the edit box there:

Yeah, the smilies are popping up sometimes for me, too. As a separate box beneath the "options" area, but above Post Quick Reply/Go Advanced buttons. But not every time, for instance, not right now.

Not to change subjects, but does the "quote message in reply?" button down there in the options area below quick reply actually do anything?

Basically, I disabled a feature where you had to click on REPLY at the bottom of a post you were trying to reply to, before the Quick Reply box would appeared. "Quote Message" that you mentioned would then quote the post you selected.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense when you read it... mostly because I can't put two sentences together for the life of me~

*EDIT* If you wanna see it in action, click on somebody's REPLY and make sure the box is checked.

It should be 2 separate options. Might take you a while to find. When I've ran/admined websites, it was always a pain in the ass to find the separate ones.

I am using a plugin for more options. Forgot I had to configure that as well.
