Found this helpful site today through Gizmodo (http://gizmodo..com)

It basically exactly what it says right there on the title, it has flowcharts and general guides available for view and free download right there on the site. Each is for a specific computer component/process/feature. Among these are: Power Supply Failure, Video card settings, Modem failure; and the one I find most useful, Boot Failure troubleshooting.

The flowcharts are especially helpful given their nature as easy to use guides. I've put up a .pdf in the attachments that has all the flowcharts which is of course available through the site.

Anyway just thought I'd share. Here's the URL btw: http://www.fonerbooks.com/pcrepair.htm

How old is this thing?

Not sure but the page has a copyright of 2009. But from what I can tell it doesn't look too old that it isn't useful.

I thought it was a joke flowchart, but it actually makes sense... at least the Boot Failure I followed.

I was curious, and this may be a bit off topic, but does anyone know if Dell will send you the driver disc for free if they accidentally gave you the wrong one with the computer?

I know this sounds simple, but Dell is never easy. I don't think anyone speaks English...

They should. Did you try just getting them from their site?

No I didn't. I should try that first. Thanks!
