The first anime of it's type to question human existence and our dependence on the cybernetic world we call the internet made lain one of my favorite animes.

And to commemorate me finding the rare OST's in cd form, I just decided to upload the soundtracks.

I don't think the music is a very good indicator of the quality of the show.

It's my absolute favorite anime series EVAR, but its soundtrack wouldn't even appear in my Top Ten. Great opening theme, everything else works for the context it's used in but doesn't make great listening on its own.

You're right, it's not a good indicator. Hehe, I was just looking for an excuse NOT to download these series. Right now, I have about 10GB of unwached anime waiting to be watched.... didn't want to add another series to the pile~

I remember seeing Lain in my anime club last year. I thought it was mediocre and had trouble understanding what was going on a lot of the time. I might watch it again once I go through some other unwatched shows on my external hard drive.
