Sweet. I never played the second game though now that I think of it.

Do yourself a favor, and find the game. For whatever reason, hardly anyone bought it, but it's really, REALLY good.

I enjoyed the first ten minutes of Max Payne. Hate the rest.

Got an hour into Max Payne 2. Returned it right away.

Who knows, maybe this will be good.

Seriously, the 2nd one is better then the first. I loved it. It's got a much better story as well.

Yeah but you're still jumping to conclusions. If you haven't played a max Payne game because you thought it "looked like" anything then your making assumptions and hindering your chances of finding a good game! lol, no but those are very similiar.

A conclusion gives the idea of finality. So if I said IT IS like that...then that would be finality...and hence...a conclusion.

Assumption is a better word for it (like you said).

I disagree. I didn't like the second one very much. It was fun but, just not as good as the first. I played a lot of the first.

But I chalk that up since Max Payne was a better game on the PC (from what I've heard).

Meh, to each their own, but I loved the second one. I thought it did everything better than the first. I thought the guns controlled better, the story was better, and it just was a better game.

Also, I hope they use the true ending from Max Payne 2, not the other one.

I never finished the game because the final boss was such a pain in the ass as well.

I was waiting for Rockstar to finally announce MP3. I knew it was coming, and it's about time Max grows himself a beard.

What I really want is a sequel to the movie. The movie version is the epitome of action movies! I'm being facetious, of course. I thought Max Payne would translate into a mildly amusing movie...boy was I wrong.

I haven't seen the movie, but I will.

Sadly, from what I've heard, it was done all wrong. If they would have stuck to the story, or went for a much more Film-Noir, it probably would have been better....hell, an animated movie would have been great too.

I heard about two major reasons why the movie sucked.

1: There are only two monologues by Max Payne himself, which are done at the beginning and the end, and say pretty much the same thing.

2: Max Payne injects himself with Valkyr. THAT WOULD NEVER FUCKING HAPPEN as far as I know the character WHICH I WILL ADMIT is not all that much, considering. But still.

However, I cannot confirm this as I have not seen the movie and don't intend to.

Yeah, she's in it. But she didn't look as good in Max Payne as she did in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. ;)
