View Full Version : Why, hello there!

So... I joined before the revamp, but I was too shy to really post at all. Quite exciting of me, I know.

I'm a casual gamer. I say casual because I haven't had much time to play video games due to school. My favorite video game is EarthBound (as well as the rest of the series, but especially EarthBound), but I like a lot of other games. Other ones that tickle my fancy are Street Fighter Alpha 3, the Pokemon series, the Silent Hill series, the Harvest Moon series, and I just got into Resident Evil. (A bit late? Perhaps.) And others that I can't think of off-hand...
Kind of an embarrassing list, I guess. Oh well. I do not pretend to be hardcore. :B

Aside from that, uh... I draw strange pictures and read lots of science articles. Lots and lots of science articles...

Science articles huh?

We could use more of the intellectual variety here.

Welcome. Hope you post more than you did before.

Welcome aboard, Psilo. Mind if I ask how you found Foxkei?

I'm a friend of ChukoLiang, Crunkman2k, and Reverend Hobo. It's like our entire town is migrating onto here or something.

Welcome!

Kind of awesome that we have people who care enough about our shenanigans here to create an account even if they don't post!

Don't worry about not being a 'hardcore' gamer. I'm not, either. Ninety percent of the games these guys talk about I've never played and have no interest in. In fact, I hate most games!

Oh lord, the Okies are invading. It will only be a matter of time before they usurp power from us. Guess I'd better start stocking up the ol' survival bunker.

Aside from that, uh... I draw strange pictures

Wait...might you be the one known as "Kima," by any chance?

Indeed, I am! Indeed, I am.
I feel internet famous all of a sudden.

Your friends have been posting some of your drawings here -- Hobo fighting a dinosaur, Frankenslut the Rape Sponge, Crunkman's sexy bacon, etc. I think they're really funny.

A wild AlucardsFate has been spotted!

New persons eh? Well...I am AlucardsFate....

You will inevitably see an argument start around here...and when that does happen...there is a 90% chance that I will be involved somehow...

My other trademarks are "excessive use of ellipses", "Way too much effort going into my signature" and "General Yunaphelia"

But Welcome!

I'm WanderingMind, but you can just call me Wandering.

I used to be shy when I first joined Foxkei, but that feeling didn't last long. It sounds like you are overcoming your shyness. Glad to hear.

Welcome, Psilo!

Science articles, eh? Tell us more about yourself. Like, what does your username mean, what is your major, any particular thing you're good at, etc.

Well, in seventh grade I was very obsessed with studying fungi and my art's very colorful, so I thought Psilocybin (I'd offer a link to the wikipedia article, but it seems I'm unable to) would be a nice name. Over the years, it just got shorted to Psilo. (I'm not a user of said chemical or any other questionable things, so no worries. lol)

I'm not in college yet, but I can't decide between double majoring in anthropology/zoology or paleontology/zoology. Such a dilemma!

Erm... I draw a lot and am hoping to start up a couple of comic projects soon, but nothing's very definite.

+thinks of more information+ Um. Hmm.
Well, I'm a casual comic book fan. American history nerd. I rarely ever wear pants... Nothing too exciting about me.

What's up with that man? Breaking your word?

Hello and welcome. I'm Fedaykin. Another 1up stray. You'll like it here. Science eh? I'm a science nut as well actually. But also a technology nut. But most of all I enjoy some good, objective intellectual debate.

I'm an Asian History nut. I know all of the major Chinese dynasties and know a lot about Japan from the Meiji era to the present day. Right now, I'm taking two history classes:

-American Foreign Policy: 1941-2001
-History of Chicago During the 19th Century*

*Not technically a history class, but I like to think of one as that. It's categorized under Values of Science and Technology Seminars, in which the school tries to "bridge the gap between the liberal arts, science, and engineering majors. Really interesting course.

I'm the most active member on Foxkei.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys! 8D

Also, Asian history sounds pretty cool. I haven't gotten around to reading much about it, but it always did seem neat.

Yes, we frown upon such things here.

<.<

Why not anthropology/paleontology? I'm gonna take anthropology/sociology next year, and if enough people get interested we'll take a trip to Belize! Man that'll be awesome.

As am I, tell me, do you know of Lenore?

No pants... that sounds plenty interesting, power to the nudists!
