View Full Version : Need Help from Expert Photoshoppers!

I'm at the end of my rope, so I need help. If you could take this small photo of a much larger drawing and turn it into a stricly black & white image (that I could then potentially color) that would be great. I've tried several methods but either end up ruining the integrity of the lines or leaving in frustrating shades of gray. ARGH! Things would be so much easier if I had a scanner...

I'm pretty much a Photoshop noob. But here's my attempt, hope it helps:

That's about what I was able to do, too. But I need to get rid of all the gray (the result of bad lighting... I photographed the paper, I didn't scan it) without compromising the weight and darkness of the linework.
I've changed the attached image, too.

Hmm. That's the best I could do. I understand what you're trying to do, but as I said I'm not good at photoshop. Heck I've only been using it for a month. And not extensively, just for some macros and some small picture editing. I gotta get me a good manual or something...
Anyway sorry for not being more helpful.
