As you might have noticed, there are two new buttons under SUBNAV (top menu): Awards and Experience.

Experience will take you to a page where you can see a list of rankings and statistics.

Awards link takes you to a page where you can see what awards we have available and what the requirements are.

You can apply for some of the medals (apply either for yourself or another member). Admin and mods will be notified about your submission and we will review your request.

More awards will be added as we can think of new ones.

No, I think that its difficult (almost impossible) to quantify "Hardcore Gamer" since, for one thing, Hardcore can be defined in multiple ways. Which is why I opt for the title of "Gaming Masochist." Anyways, I think the best way to define the requirements would be to simply ask the current members. And while what can be considered difficult by one person may not be considered so by another, I think there are some standards that everyone can agree on. For example, Ninja Gaiden/Black/Sigma is considered a great but difficult title. Sure, some people may say its easy, but more so consider it difficult. And just take the infamous boss, Alma. I don't think there are many gamers alive who don't think Alma is a tough enemy. So a "Gaming Masochist" is somebody who regularly plays difficult games (and beats them, of course). It really is that simple. And truthfully, this is no harder to define than the Funniest Member Award (which I support), because like humor, what can be considered difficult often hinges upon the opinion of the person defining it.

Two things to consider:
1) You can have more medals to display
2) If you remove your current sig, it actually looks really nice.

But yeah, let me know if you want it the old way.

I'll be fine-- I don't plan on actually being awarded any medals! But it does make the sig area sort've... big. Then again they made the avatar area big, too. I dunno; I'm torn.

I say it would look rad if you shrunk the award images a little and put them under the avatar. Then again, that might not be possible. Whatever. I'm confusing myself...

I like them better this way. They tended to make the avatar area look a bit crowded when they were over there.
