View Full Version : Setting a USB Keyboard as Default

Hello.

My Acer is being stupid but it seems easy enough to fix for now. I just have to make it so that when I open a game or a program or just whenever my USB keyboard does not decide to stop working, as it seems problems start up whenever I use the built on keyboard and the laptop actually works pretty much fine otherwise.

I have two different USB keyboards and they both keep 'disconnecting' as it were. They're still plugged in but the computer refuses to recognize any text input from USB when certain things happen, like a few hours of use, or a game starts running (but only specific games for some reason).

We're trying to get this looked at by someone who knows what they're doing and can physically look at this but it'll still be a few weeks before we can, I am told. So for now, how do I make the USB keyboard default?

UPDATE:

I feel dumb. Got the problem figured out. Keyboard was faulty.

I'd delete this but apparently I can't delete threads I make.
