All time eh? That's pretty lofty praise...

Well, I was speaking more as of today way. Of all Time just rolls off the lips a bit better, don't you think?

King of the Hill? Really? I despise that show.
Is that the original Office or the not as good American version?

I have not seen the UK version so it's the American one. I like it. I've always loved King Of The Hill, every single episode is always good.

At first I thought they were making fun of the idiocy of the stereotypical Texan but after a few episodes I wasn't getting that feeling anymore.
Anyway you should definitely check out the original Office. I've never seen the american one but, I've heard the original is so much better.

I never understood what people liked so much about M*A*S*H...
But I seem to be in a vast minority...so I just assume it's something I alone don't get...like most internet videos I'm shown...

You're not alone on the internet videos thing-- they're almost universally unfunny. But M*A*S*H was great. I used to hate it when I was younger, but suddenly something clicked about 8 years ago, and now it's one of my favorite series of all-time!

The original has dry Brit humor. Ugh. But i've heard they handle certain relationships much better.
My top 5 list?
I'll have to think about that. I don't watch much TV in the 1st place.

1: Burn Notice
2: Monk

4: Survivorman

I think I'm the only person who's seen Police Squad. The Naked Gun movies are based on this tv show. Police Squad only lasted six episodes, but I think it's just as good, if not better, as the first Naked Gun.

I thought the web had collectively agreed to love both American and English versions of The Office for their own separate strengths. That's the vibe I get whenever somebody asks the American version vs English version question.

I didn't know that. I love the Naked Gun movies. Is Leslie Nielsen in this show? and does David Zucker direct them?

Yes and yes.
I have the complete series on DVD, which I got when it came out. It should be easy to find.

Excellent list my man. But, I never quite got into NGE. It just didn't pull me in with the one ...maybe two episodes I watched.

Thx. A lot of people don't like Eva. I mean I can't say much about Shinji Ikari, he definitely IS one of the most annoying male characters in anime, but I still love the show. Though the kid from Claymore is the worst I've seen.
To add on a related note my favorite anime films are Akira and Ghost in the shell.

I don't think Anime should be included in these lists. Cowboy Bebop is beyond normal television. I don't know about my favorite shows of all time. As far as T.V. is concerned, I prefer sitcoms. The shows I actually watch on T.V. nowadays are:
Regular TV
1. Seinfeld
2. That 70's Show
3. The King of Queens
4. Friends
5. Ninja Warrior
American Toons
1. South Park
2. The Simpsons
3. Futurama
4. Harvey Birdman
5. Home Movies
Those aren't in any specific order, but I think of them as shows you can watch any time. Some shows you have to be in the mood for, but those you can always just flip to mid show and enjoy.
Premium Shows
1. Entourage
2. Dead Like Me (Canceled. My FAVORITE of all time)
3. Sex and The City (Finished)
4. Extras (Canceled.)
5. Sopranos
Those were some of the best premiums that I either watched religiously, watched a lot at some point, or am still currently watching. I know Dexter is supposed to be really good but I just haven't gotten into it yet. Six Feet Under wasn't bad either. Dead Like Me was just... the best show ever made and they canceled it. :'(

I know I'm in the minority for West Wing fans, but I really enjoyed seasons 5-7 as well as 1-4. They were different in tone, but no less compelling.

Haha you fail. Actually I though so too for a moment, why I mentioned it. Then I remembered that Dexter show existed.

BLASPHEMER! :p
I didn't mind Season 5 (gave up during 6), but it just seemed like they weren't as good at balancing drama and humor as they were when Sorkin was around. It's a hard balance, and a lot of shows fail miserably at it, and it's what made The West Wing so special in the first place. It could be funny when it wanted, serious when it needed, and the transition between the two never felt awkward or out of place.
It seemed like with Season 5 and on, they kind of gave up on the humor entirely, and it became a much bleaker look at government. I get enough of that from the regular government. :p

Yeah, it definitely took on a more serious feeling. But when they start the campaigning in season 6 is when the show really starts to take off again. I don't know why, but I just really like the last 2 seasons for the campaign. Maybe it's because I'm such an Alan Alda fan... (I supported Vinick, by the way)
