Double post!!! Just changed up my phone theme for baseball season. All the specs are the same (it's the same phone, after all), just a different theme put in there to change up background, icons, and some UI behaviors.

Why, thank you. I like the simplicity and minimalist aspect of it.

I used to run Buuf, too. It's a great theme. The dude constantly updates it, too.

Off-topic, but what the hell:

Why do you feel you'll need the need to root? Just curious to know why.
As for rooting, PM me your firmware number and we'll go from there.

I thought it was just another way of saying "jailbreak it".

I wanna do it just so I can do more with the phone. Maybe have a better keyboard (swype is hit and miss with me) and a better looking interface.

I'll pm you although I'll probably do the stuff you tell me to tomorrow.

Default Rom (there are still lots of bugs on the Cyanogen Mod for this phone, so I'm still waiting for the best release)

You have root and are running CM, then why do you have 2.1? They're on 2.3 now.

I'm not running CM. I said I wanted to wait for a good working release. I'm using the stock Rom for the moment.
Ah, what the heck, let's check the XDA forums again, see what I have to work with....

Oh. I misread that.

Stock ROMs are great in terms of (bootup) speed and stability.

I'm running CM Nighties without any problem. Some random reboots here and there, but nothing major. Try RCs.

Well, I'm gonna try a Cyanogen Gingerbread release, see how it works. The only bugs so far are that it has no way to take high quality pics (but the x10 mini pro camera is not very good anyway) and no ANT+ (which I don't think I've ever used).

EDIT: Been reading the thread, battery drains faster with this release, and that's a big NOPE for me.

But Froyo looks more stable and has HQ camera... CM6 it is then!

EDIT 2: Nah, sticking with the stock rom until I get a better phone :p

Yeah, battery drainage is a big problem.

You can do what I'm doing, run one of the deodexed stock ROM and just add the mods you want.

You know, I did a search about deodexed stock ROM for my phone, but I got nothing :(
Anyway, what I did was just enable JIT so that the phone can run some appications faster (mainly games :))
