So, I'm sure some of you have seen me post about the Jury Duty I was in for a few months?
Anyone curious about it?

I dug up some vids and articles that I'll post here if anyone's interested. I'll post again after this once I'm done adding to the list.

VIDS:
YouTube - Bomb Explosion at Oregon Bank Kills 2 - An interview with police after the Woodburn bombing in December '08, two years before the trial.
YouTube - Police: Bomb Material Found in Suspect's Home - A news story aired just after they'd brought in both defendants. You can see both of them in the video. I'm used to seing them in suits. Wierd.
YouTube - 2009 Professional Rescue Real Heroes - Two of the officers we saw testify, talking about what they saw when they went in the bank. The younger man had most of the room near tears as he was telling his story, crying. Also shows the police chief that was maimed by the bomb and lost his leg. He was the only survivor of the three police officers in the room, and the only other survivor in the room was a good distance away and was still injured. You would not believe just how lucky the police chief is to have survived.

HERE's (http://www.katu.com/news/local/104188344.html?tab=video) a news story showing some more testimony from the first few days.

Articles:
The Oregonian's covering (http://www.oregonlive.com/pacific-northwest-news/index.ssf/2010/09/woodburn_bank_bombing_trial_1.html)of day one in the trial. I'll note here that what you read in a lot of these articles will NOT be exactly what happened, and won't have everything that happened, but you'll get an idea.
Their whole archive of stories is HERE (http://topics.oregonlive.com/tag/woodburn%20bombing/index-oldest.html). It starts with their oldest, ends with the sentencing.

HERE (http://www.kgw.com/news/local/Woodburn-Bank-Bombing-Trial-Begins-Wednesday-103971358.html) is a story from the first days from another news source, with a small amount of video for ya. I'm really trying to find the paramedic (you see her on the stand in that video) and her story. It is absolutely amazing.

For so long we weren't supposed to tell anyone anything we saw or knew or were going through in the trial, but now that it's over I can. This trial went on so long and I saw so much that I don't think I could ever tell everything that went on in that courtroom. And there's a lot I really don't want to remember.

If anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to post em. I kinda feel like I should talk about some of the stuff anyway.

I've gotta take a break. I'm getting a little out of it while I'm screening some of this content. I'll be back to it in a few. If anyone has questions or anything, go ahead and post em. No need to wait for this to be completely finished.
