Gallery and Forums use the same method for tagging.
This tutorial is for the gallery section of this site.
Connect words using underscore and separate words using space.
Be as general as you can. Specific tags don't help people to find pictures. Example:
Say you want to tag this picture (http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g12/Mantis-A/Ocelot.gif)... it's young Ocelot from MGS3, right? Now, you might want to tag it as "young_ocelot metal_gear gif", but that's no good. If someone searches for "ocelot", that image won't show up, so it's better to tag it as "ocelot metal_gear gif".
