I checked this out last night. The music sounds great! The paino track and the sweet sounding battle theme or whatever. I'm so in love with that battle theme right now.

You know, FFXIII seems to be trying to mix both the Nomura styled FFs and the Matsuno/Yoshida titles. I don't know where that will go, but it gives me more hope that it won't be as stupid as FFX.

Where are you guys finding this battle theme and music?

It's on the actual site for FF13, after you listen to the intro tune, the battle song pops up...it's almost matching lost odyssey epicness.

I happened to get the magazine from a friend that showed me the ingame battle's...surprisingly...it almost matches that prerendered trailer....sort of SEMI makes me want to purchase a PS3.

But hey, I have about 2 years...cause who knows when THE HELL this is even gonna be released in the states.

Also, some of those character names are just ridiculous...snow villiers??? psh!!!

I'm not a big RPG player, but when a new FF or (since DQ8) a new DQ comes out, I'm getting it.

FF12 was kinda disappointing, but it's hard to say that when I put so many hours into it. The battle system looks similar, which is a good thing. If they spruced up the characters and made the story better than the "rebels vs evil empire with powerful crystals" thing, I'm in.
