Does anyone know any free photoshop type programs for Mac? I had Paint Shop Pro 7 for Windows and had a ball editing photos and making crazy things on there, but now that I have my mac I have nothing.

Anyone have any ideas?

I downloaded GIMP. I have no idea what anything does, nor do I have the patience to do anything with it.

It helps if you know how to use Photoshop....however limited my skills are.

That's probably true. On the other hand, I never used photoshop before. What I'm trying to say is: with enough practice and just plain ol' messing around, anyone can pick up GIMP. If I can do it, by god anyone can!
