So today, I saw an article ( was trying to link it, but couldn’t find the article anymore :[ ) online which had pictures of voice actors and actresses from different games. It motivated me to write a blog about MGS4 voice-overs. Took me a long time to gather all these pictures and put them together! The only two that I’m missing are Sunny and Mei Ling~

San Francisco Metreon. June 14, 2008. Today was the day I met a gaming legend, the creator of Metal Gear series, Hideo Kojima. How many MGS fans can say that? Besides Mr. Kojima, I also met Kenichiro Imaizumi, and Yumi Kikuchi. This is a dream come true… I am content.

July 12, 2008. I’ve been waiting for this day! Solid Snake’s final chapter begins(ends?) today. Today is the day we’ll finally understand the whole story and saga of Metal Gear. I’m getting excited just by writing these. So many things are waiting to be answered and revealed. I cannot wait!

Went to my local Borders today and was shocked to see this in the “New Releases – Fiction” section. It was mentioned sometime ago (I think it was during the MGS 20th Ann Party), but I had forgotten that Konami was releasing a novel based on the first game. The price is $12.95 from Borders and it has 320 pages. More pictures after the jump~

Metal Gear Online – Part 01

Metal Gear Online BETA started on Friday and I’m betting half the PS3 owners were playing it on the first day. The game has two modes for online playing: Automatching and Freebattle. The Automatching has three lobbies: Snake, Liquid, and Raiden. On Friday, all three lobies were maxed out (999 people in each lobby).
The other mode, Freebattle, has more lobbies (Otacon, Meryl, Eva, etc), but I didn’t check how many people were in those. I played for five hours straight that day and surprisingly I came in either first or second. But I guess that’s because BETA had just started and everyone was a newbie. Heh~
I’m planning on writing about the BETA every now and then for those of you who didn’t get in. As for this post, I’m going to talk about the controls. Feel free to share your thoughts.

When you reserve a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 with GameStop, you get a free copy of Metal Gear Saga volume 02 and access to Metal Gear Online Beta. Why some people still haven’t preorder is beyond me. Kojima Productions always include free goodies with reserves. With MGS3: Subsistence, we got MG Saga volume 01 which you can now only find on ebay. What’s that? You didn’t reserve a copy, but you want in on the Beta? And you want Saga too?
