I’d say it’s about time I got a Mac (or a laptop, I should say). Glad I get employee discount, ’cause even though I worked my ass off this summer, there is no way I could have afford the full-price of this baby. Specs and pictures after the jump.
- MacBook Pro 13-inch
- 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- 4GB Memory
- 250GB hard drive
- NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics

I get 25% personal employee discount.
If you got any friends or family working at apple, they can get you a 15% discount. I bought a another MacBook for my friend with that discount.
Also, they have a refurbished section online with really good deals:

Did it come with 10.5 or 10.6?

Came with 10.5.
But I’m eligible to pick up Snow Leopard for only $10 since my purchase was very recent.
Not gonna do that though since I’m gonna get my free copy very soon.

Stupid Security Code…
Well, like I’d previously typed, can you hook me up with a simple mac that’s strong enough to make fabulous movies with Final Cut Pro?

Pretty much any MacBook Pro you get can handle Final Cut.
But you should know that Final Cut Studio is a $999 software and pirating is not an option.
You can buy Final Cut Express though… that’s only $199.
