Yesterday, I got my 16GB Walkman (NWZ-X1051) that I bought from Amazon. I didn’t know my music sounded so good. Pictures after the jump.
You know, I handle iPhones and iPod Touches everyday and let me tell you, they have nothing on this baby. The sound quality is amazing! And the screen is so bright and responsive! Everything is very fluid. I wouldn’t be surprises to see Sony makes a handheld gaming device that uses touch-screen technology.
Only downfall is that it doesn’t recognize lossless formats (i.e. FLAC, OGG), but perhaps it’ll support more formats with future firmware updates.
Coming from an iPod Nano, this thing blew me away. If you just want a PMP that plays music and videos with great quality, I’d say this is a great device. But if you want to play games, browse the net, and all that stuff, you should consider an iPod Touch. I have my Android phone to do all that stuff, so this gizmo is only for music and videos.
Oh, I forgot to mention the awesomeness of the screen! It’s an OLED screen which makes everything else look like crap. The demo movies looked AMAZING!

I hate you Fox…
*looks at his own 120GB Ipod Classic*
Ok It’s not so bad. If that Walkman had at least 60 GB capacity and would have come out before I bought my Classic I would have been al over it. Drooling.
I like my Ipod, but the sound quality is kind of a set back.

@Rob
Yeah, it comes in 32GB also.
@Fedaykin
Fortunately, I don’t have that much music, so 16GB is more than enough for me.
