Don’t let the title fool ya, there are comics involved too.
Let’s start off with Shaman King. Volume 23 is the continuation of Golem Arc… pretty boring stuff, but fortunately the story picks up after this volume.
Haruhi Volume 3 contains the five chapters and two main stories. I haven’t read this volume yet, but looking through it, it looks like the first two chapters are “The Boredom” episodes (baseball game from season 01) and the last two chapters contain the first episode of season 02 (where Kyon helps Young Haruhi with the crop-circle thing).
Surprise, surprise. Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei in North America? Could it be?! Just like the anime, you’ll either love ir or hate it. I gotta hand it to Del Rey for putting this much effort into translating and adding notes to this title. Very well done.
And I finally picked up Black Lagoon. Gotta love Viz’s rating comment.
And for the first time, I bought comic books! Had to go with Batman because Batman is win. Still reading Batman R.I.P. so I can’t comment on it yet, but so far the story has been a little confusing. Art is beautiful, though.
Batman Hush is really good. Everything about it is good; the drawing, the story, the characters. You get to see almost all the villains, heroes, and heroines in Gotham City.

I haven’t read any manga in a while. Last manga I bought was whatever the latest volume of Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle was out last month, and I still need to read it.
Planned manga purchases? Hitman Reborn vol 1 (if I can find it), whatever I need to catch up on xxxHolic, and Black Lagoon.

Last Mangas I bought were Appleseed Vol. 1, Monster Vol. 2, and 20th Century Boys.
Read Monster and loved it, way more action than the first one as well (though I didn’t have any complaints with the pace of the first one).
Read most of Appleseed, it’s kind of confusing, I think I’ll watch the film and then reread it to see if it makes more sense and decide if I want to continue reading it.
Haven’t touched 20th Century Boys yet but it is by Naoki Urasawa, the author of monster, so hopefully I’ll enjoy it.
Tell me how Hush is when you’ve finished it, I like a good Batman tale.

nice stuff dude. im a big manga fan myself. currently im following a recent new series called Gamaran. this is easily one of the best fighting and best of Weekly Shonen Magazine so far this year. the story has way more potential to develop and unlike other action manga, you cant see whats going on during fight scenes, this one is done cleanly. The protagonist unlike others, kills without hesitation nor does he give long ass preach to convert enemies to, well… they are dead. this is no ordinary fighting tournament, no rules, various fighting style, so far long swordsmen, and archer.. enemies can strike any time any place, whoever is a step behind, its over. check it out.. peace out~~~
