So I picked up Cross Edge (or is it “X Edge”?) last Wednesday and I gotta say, it’s a really good game. Colorful characters, engaging story, and an overall beautiful design.
The game itself is actually pretty challenging. I’m playing on Medium difficulty level and have had my ass handed to me a few times. But it’s alright… I got all summer to level up.
One great thing Nis America has done is to include the Japanese dialog in the game, so you have the option to switch between ENG and JPN.
Speaking of audio, the game has a great soundtrack! Unfortunately, the soundtrack is not available for purchase in NA, but no worries, the interwebs is kind enough to share it with us. You can download it here. The main theme, Blade of Tears, performed by Haruka Shimotsuki is very good and catchy.
Can’t really say much more other than to encourage you guys to go pick up a copy. It’s really a fun and challenging game.

LOLZ! I just finished watching FieryDeath Man get his butt whooped in this game. He said there are a lot of features he doesn’t quite understand as of yet but he hasn’t been playing it for very long so we’ll see how it turns out.
