Went to buy shoes with my friend the other day and ended up buying
Full Metal Panic? : Fumoffu slimpack boxset at FYE. Haven’t watched the show myself, but I heard good things about it from my buddies.
Actually, I do remember watching an episode back when I was in high school. One of the kids in chemistry class brought his laptop and showed it to us during lunch. Think it was a pretty funny show.
Too bad there is no FYE store in the mall I’m working at right now. They had a lot of anime DVD’s; even used ones for a reasonable price. I’m gonna head over there once I get my paycheck next week. Either that or just shop at Amazon, Buy, or DiscountAnimeDVD.
So where do you guys buy your anime?

Well, having only seen about 3 to 4 episodes of this OVA, I can say that it is a worthwhile watch…never finished it though. But I did watch the actual series to its entirety.
Either way it a good pick…and how much did you get it for??? since when I check at best buy..it’s about 35 bucks.
And currently, I shop at bestbuy and my local poweranime.

lol, sounds like my typical day out. having an idea on what to buy but ending up with something completely different.
Fumoffu is actually a light hearted comedy OVA compared to the original and The Second Raid. it’s worth it for the laugh and you really don’t need to know much about the original to get some of the stuff in there. i get my stuff from DiscountAnimeDVD majority of the time, AnimeNation.com and bestbuy.
the other person has to be online to add as a friend eh? lame =/
i’ll join your clan when i get the expansion pack and create a new character…

Full Metal Panic is awesome. Watched the first season over the summer. Still need to watch Fumoffu and Second Raid.
I buy most of my anime at Best Buy and FYE. Sometimes, I’ll buy stuff online. I’m going to do that with Tsubasa Chronicle and Giant Robo.

Good stuff. I’m watching Death Note and Prince of Tennis right now. Most of the DVD’s I buy are from eBay (bootleg) or Circuit City.
