Vincent finds himself trapped within Re-l’s consciousness, and observes powerlessly as events unfold.
Vincent wakes up trapped within Re-l’s conscious without knowing what has happened to him or Pino. One thing that stood out the most to me was Vincent’s voice-actor; he did an amazing job. I said this before and I’ll say it again: the English voice over for Vincent is better than the Japanese version. Period. Now that’s a bold statement.
So a female doctor (shrink?) tells Re-l/Vincent what’s happening and tells Vincent in order to fix this, he needs to kill Re-l in his imagination. Vincent couldn’t bring himself to do it and later on realizes that the shrink is actually another Proxy. He exposes her and she leaves the alone. Vincent wakes up from his dream (sleeping? He was suppose to be operating their ship).
And that was it for volume five. One more volume with only three more episodes to go!

It is quite comforting to know that in Vincent’s mind he just wanted a normal life. As shown in the episode, his dream of becoming a “fellow citizen” has been realized, he even had Raul Creed as his entourage. I also liked how in his dreams or subconscious he really wanted Re-l in his life, in his “world” she was his fiance.
Oh the complications of being a demi-god! you just wish you were normal like everyone else! =)
