Romdo is on high alert as they search for the fugitive Raul, who plans to activate a deadly weapon. Meanwhile, the trio discover strange humanoids living inside a toxic cave system.
This episode begins with Raul being chased by Romdo police for an unknown reason. After he destroys a group of AutoReivs, a go through a flashback that explains Raul’s situation. And meanwhile, Vincent, Re-l, and Pino discover a cave where strange creatures are living inside.
Raul is not stable; it’s as if he’s having a mental break-down because of Vincent. He is blaming everything on Vincent, but we don’t know where this hate is coming from. And in a couple of scenes, he hallucinates Vincent standing in front of him… mocking him. Kristeva, Raul’s AutoReiv, is aware of Raul’s mental status, but she can’t do anything against her master.
We see Raul and Kristeva visit the Regent, as they always do, but this time Raul loses it. He talks back and questions Regent’s purpose. He then resigns and walks out. This is where Regent puts Kristeva in charge and has her arrest Raul.
To keep things short, Raul activates a weapon (looked like a missile) which targets a yet-to-be-known location. At the end, we see Romdo police force find Raul at his house playing the piano. He is still thinking about Vincent, but this time we find out why he hates him so much. Remember in episode 02 there was a scene where a Proxy is chasing Vincent in the mall? There was a part where you see Pino and a lady with a baby coming up the escalator, but the Proxy attacks them and kills the mother and the baby? Well, it turns out that was Raul’s family. His wife and the new-born baby died and Pino was infected with Cogito Virus and is now traveling with Vincent.

Those humanoid beings in the caves, were they mutated human beings? It seems from that episode that they are able to conceive/pro-create unlike the manufactured humans of the domed cities.
The episode also solidifies the connection between Pino and Raul. In previous episodes, Pino often acknowledges the parental figure as only FATHER and only used the word mother in episode 1. Pino and Raul both love playing the Piano and as shown in a flashback that he taught him how to play it.
As Raul experiences recurring visions of Vincent, he is more than resolved to end his life as we are made to understand now that Pino, her mom and baby brother were his family.
